Better by price
Compared to a 19" crt, the screen is immense. However the actual resolution 1680x1050 is noticeably less than the 1600x1200 desktop of the crt. Problem with first one.
I purchased the 22" Acer Monitor the first part of May '08. Hooked it up and it worked great for the first 3-4 days. Then it developed a high-pitched whine/buzz that was totally irritating to work with...then started to OVERHEAT.
