A6 4.2: Great car, but bad service kills it.
I purchased my 4.2 with much delight. This was my first German automobile. Being that I used to go skiing up in the mountains a lot back then, I wanted something with AWD. In the end, the choice between BMW 54x and A6 4.2 came down to AWD.

German engineering with unacceptable flaws.
It's truly a great thing to lose the car you previously owned because it was a junker. Well mine wasn't a "junker" but it was 5 years old with high miles. Sit in the lap of luxury
I've owned my 2001 A6 for 6 months now. My previous vehicles were 2 Porsches and a twin turbo Nissan Z. This is definitely a different car than those.
