Beltronics BEL 946 Radar Detector

My husband purchased the "BEL 946 - Express Cordless" a few months ago for his truck and he is very pleased with the radar.It detects X,K,super wideband Ka (33.4-36.0 GHz) radar,laser and SWSTM signals.This radar comes with 2 selectable features such as a VG-2 guard alert and a safety warning system.You will receive audio and visual alerts when signals from this radar detector when detectors are picked up.It does have a auto shut off if there is no alerts or button activation if nothing occurs for one hour.It has bright,dim and dark settings that are real easy to read.The radar signal strength,confirms the presence of Laser signals that work great.
We have used this radar in our car and camper as well,and we are very happy with how it works.After doing a lot of shopping for a radar detector,I feel this purchase was the best.It comes with a 1 year warranty and the battery has a regulated switch mode and energy conserving circuitry that will last the entire battery life.I know my husband will get a lot of use out of this radar.I believe this radar was built to last and can detect anything.
