2001 S-Type

The Jaguar S-Type is available in either a V6 or V8 model. Standard luxury amenities include a keyless remote entry system, leather seating surfaces, dual power seats, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Both models include cruise control and traction control. V8 models are equipped with the Power/Memory Package, which includes a power moonroof, an automatic day/night mirror, compass, and memory seat and steering wheel. A cellular phone with voice activation controls and a Navigation system with Jaguar Assist are components of the optional Deluxe Communications Package. The Weather Package adds convenience items such as heated seats, rain sensing wipers, Dynamic Stability Control, and a heated wiper and washers.

Pros A new look Sports model from Jaguar

Pros Looks, wood, leather, ride, handling
Cons Mushy transmission.

I bought a certified car from the dealer with the V-8 engine. It had less than 17000 miles on it, and it looked new inside and out. Pros Wonderful steering and breaking controls, and a smooth ride.

The Jaguar S-type is a beautiful car. It has great steering and breaking controls and is a joy to drive. The front seats all have Lombard support, which feels wonderful on your back.
