I was initially happy with the picture. The sound is poor though.
Several months after we bought the unit we started having problems with the screen and noises from the tv. Vizio was absolutely horrible with the warranty work. They simply would not warranty all of the things wrong with it. It took 3.5 weeks for them to come and get the tv. They kept it for 2 weeks. It broke within 1 month again. Dealing with Vizio as a company is a total nightmare. I wish we had bought a different unit as I am reading all over the net how bad they are with warranty services.
They will not fix it properly and they certainly will not replace the unit. They won't even pro rate on a new unit.
Honestly: buy from a better more established company.
My understanding is Vizio products do not last as long as other brands, I can attest they are not well made. I do not wish their warranty department on my worst enemy.
Waste of money and time.
