Not Worth It
Pros
Two decks would be great if it worked with other components.
Cons
Bad documentation; no customer service; impossible to hook up;
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
I can't recommend it. It's too hard to set up and use.
One of my old VCRs died, and I went online to search for possible replacements. This product was recommended several places, and I liked the idea of a dual deck--something I have never had.
I had to order it. I spent three to four hours trying to hook it up. There's no big secret about it. It hooks up just like a VCR.
Problem is the remote control doesn't work with all systems. I never could get a menu online. It also is hard to use. All I could get it to do was turn the VCR on and off. There was no obvious way to open a deck to insert a VCR.
In desperation, I undid a whole wall of electronics and moved things so this VCR would sit on top of the TV. Then, I hooked up the cable wire included. It produced the world's grainiest reception.
I tried the phone but no luck. I tried the web site, but it did not have any basis answers.
Finally, I packed the VCR up and mailed it back to QVC with a request for a full refund, including the $11 I had to pay to mail the thing back.
