What a disappointment! **UPDATED**
**OLD** Well first off, I'd like to say that I've been a loyal customer of Sony for 7 years now. I have always counted on Sony to deliver the best in quality. I returned this player the next day!
The sound quality on this unit is atrocious. The bass is so distorted at any volume above 5 it's distracting. Imagine hearing the sound of someone sitting on a whoopee cushion on every bass beat... it's that bad. It's not the headphone's fault, either; I tried the player with several high-quality... Best CD player I have ever had!!!!
I got this CD player about 4 years ago after 2 Horrible Cd players. The first one was a RCA one which was the worst CD player in the history of mankind, no antishock was on it, good sound though, and if i hit the table by accident it would turn off! Another review on this product gave the D-EJ626CK 1 Star. The reviewer's claim was that the sound quality was terrible. I would have to disagree with this overall assessment.
