The guitars that make up the Seagull S series represent on of the world's most outstanding values in acoustic guitars. The back and sides are made from a three-layer lamination of Wild Cherry wood. With a sound that lands somewhere between the mollow tone of a Mahogany guitar and the bright sound of Maple, Wild Cherry has proven itself to be an excellent tone wood. The S6 Slim also features a smooth neck made from Silver Leaf Maple, which is narrower than the neck on the Original S6. This model includes the Quantum 1 gutiar system.
