Takamine’s Natural series was conceived to give the biggest and widest acoustic sound possible. The Natural ETN70 OM is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. Solid cedar tops, solid sepele backs, a thin satin finish and no pick guard – anything that could possibly impede the vibration of the soundboard was purposely left out. The tone is sweet and lively and is voiced for balance across the entire playable range. In keeping with the “natural” theme, various woods are used to trim and decorate each model. The rosette is an intricate design using ovangkol and rosewood. The purfling is basswood and fretboard inlays are maple. A pinless bridge makes string changing a breeze. Includes Takamine’s palathetic pickup®, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The CT4B preamp has long been the popular choice among Takamine pro artists, providing warm natural acoustic tone at high sound pressure levels.

A gorgeous OM Cutaway shaped guitar with solid Cedar top and solid Sapele back providing a lovely warm tone from the instrument. Coupled with excellent Japanese crafstmenship and the high quality CT4B preamp system, the guitar is ready for peformance on any stage. The OM body shape tends to offer more midrange frequency response lending itself nicely to finger-style players or anyone after a warmer sound than a traditional dreadnought might offer.
