Dark violet, reflections are black and bright. robe is thick and generous. flavors are of juicy, slightly sun-baked black fruit. aromas range from mocha to toast, characteristic of these rich and powerful wines. mouth is opulent with smooth, firm, tannins, still young and full of promise. A persistent and long finish, sign of a beautiful vintage. aromatic range will unveil itself within next five years, but we will have to wait a decade to find out fully. Let us be patient. La Bernardine is an intense crimson-red color. aromas are complex but subtle with blackcurrant and plum layered with roasted coffee, cinnamon and black cherry. On palate, spice, licorice and both dark and red fruits. Wine & Spirits rating: 90.

The Jadot family has been making wine since 1826. Their vineyards blanket the beautiful countryside of the Burgundy region and are well-known for their outstanding yields. Their Beaujolais- Villages is made with 100% Gamay grapes and has a refreshing acidity that allows you to actually taste the grape.
