A sweet white wine, dessert wine par excellence. Straw-yellow, Moscato d'Asti has an intensely fruity, aromatic and very persistent nose. Its sweet flavors are perfectly balanced with its low alcoholic content and acidity, which is never very high, but provides wine with an inviting freshness. Made with 100% Moscato.

2001 vintage of this wine was ranked #1 on Wine Spectator's Top 10 Wines of 2004 2005 was marked by drought. Only 127 mm of rain fell during winter, and following a month of April with some more rain (129 mm), dry weather began again at end of May. summer was first very hot in June and July, then cooler in August and September, which allowed slow ripening and good balance between body and freshness. Beautiful intense golden color. Pleasantly fresh, showing jammy notes and candied fruit (apricots, figs). Round and smooth on palate, with candied notes and a long finish. Mid-gold color. Possessing a developed, cheesy, nose. Very, very sweet, amazingly so. Some miracle has been performed here. Very round and charming but with a very long finish too. This wine was difficult to spit out! Punchy and certainly concentrated. Wine Spectator rating: 92.

subtle, original character of Clarendelle Amberwine is due to a combination of grapes issued from a late harvest as well as grape affected by noble rot. Clarendelle Amberwine has a wonderful golden yellow colour, an intense fruit aroma with hints of dried apricots, ripe peach and pear combined with subtle note of pineapple and orange flower. wine displays full ripe fruit and enjoys a beautiful balanced acidity with a long finish. 80% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Muscadelle

A new passito wine from Dal Forno. Dal Forno Vigna Sere' is produced only in best years after a scrupulous selection of corvina, corvinone, croatina, oseleta and rondinella grapes cultivated on Monte Sere' and withered according to an old tradition. Has an enticing nose, with prune, tar, espresso and dried nuts. Full– to medium-bodied, with good supportive tannins that turn chewy on finish and lots of dark chocolate and mocha that linger at end. This will be worth wait. Superintense and layered. Like a baby Vintage Port. Vino da meditazione to be enjoyed after a meal. The Wine Advocate rating: 92.
