Ruby red with garnet hues. impact of Riserva Ducale Oro 2006 is intense. At a first approach, notes of cherry, plum and violet appear very powerful; subsequently it denotes strong aromas of tobacco, chocolate, cinnamon and black pepper. On whole, this wine shows a very complex and powerful nose. Full-bodied, very powerful in fruity tastes, with tannins that are elegant and well linked to a good acidity. 2007 Gabbiano Allenza

nose shows rich, concentrated fruit, with abundant blackcurrant and blueberry preceding clean-edged impressions of plum preserves, while black pepper and cinnamon nuances mark a very lengthy finale. It develops quite full-bodied on palate, warm and generous, with a well-built, velvety suite of tannins. progression through finish is complex and lingering, complemented throughout by a judicious acidity that perfectly balances alcohol. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out under strictly controlled temperatures and followed by malolactic fermentation in the spring.
