Wine Spectator rating: 94. 1994 vintage of this wine was ranked #2 on Wine Spectator's Top 10 Wines of 1997 Inky black with purple rim. A nose of great purity opening on a vigorous note of concentrated black woodland fruit laced with raspberry and plum. Around this dense fruity core, with its attractive vibrancy and minerality, is a fragrant and complex aura of citrus fruit blossom and wild herbal scents of mint and lavendar. Supported by a tight warp of thick sinewy tannins, palate explodes with concentrated ripe black fruit flavor which surges into long finish before being gripped in a tight tannic embrace. A wine which manages to combine massive structure and powerful fruitness of 2009 harvest with elegance, poise and finesse.

Dow's 30 Years Old Tawny is made exclusively from grapes sourced at A classified vineyards (highest), which include Dow's Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira, two of very best vineyards in Douro valley. This enviable position is reflected in excellent quality and consistency of style evident in Dow's 30 Years Old Tawny. This 30 Years Old Port is a beautifully mature wine of great distinction. Pale and delicate, it has superb complexity and style. With a concentrated and nutty nose and a full, fresh and lingering finish. It is a very skilful blend, creating an excellent balance between nutty oak and raisin fruit flavours. Wine & Spirits rating: 91.

Clear, dark golden brown with very strong legs. Characteristic bouquet with complex dried fruits and wood, toffee and vanilla. Sweet, smooth, full bodied, complex, and a long finish of nuts and dark chocolate. Wine Spectator rating: 92.

Possesses Graham's typical rich, concentrated fruit and strong underlying grip from firm tannins. This well-structured Vintage was initially unfairly underrated but it has since established its great worth. A very good Vintage for broaching through first decade of 21st Century. Graham's 1980 stands amongst finest wines of vintage. Wine Spectator rating: 90.

This wine is from Portugal, Madeira region. Aged in oak casks for at least 10 years. A superb, full-bodied, wonderfully rich Madeira with a sweet, rich chocolaty flavor and a concentrated bouquet. Best enjoyed with desserts, or on its own after a meal. Fortified MALVASIA Wine MADEIRA

Roeda is Vintage Port of a very good year from the Croft estate, Quinta da Roeda, arguably the best property in the Douro Valley. This Single Estate Vintage Port will normally mature more quickly than the main classic vintages and will show its robust style to perfection within ten to fifteen years.

Wine Enthusiast rating: 95. Light, orange-tinted amber color, magnificent perfumed nose with great class showing an array of dried fruits. Outstanding mature concentrated palate with full honeyed fruit, gorgeously mellowed. Simply delicious with an aftertaste that lasts and lasts. An excellent alternative to Vintage Port at less formal occasions. Will keep for some weeks after opening.

2005 vintage of this wine was ranked #3 on Wine Spectator's Top 10 Wines of 2008 Color: Brick Red Aroma: Intense and lifted complex aromas of spices, cedar and vanilla combine with fresh dark wild berries and ripe blood plums. Palate: Elegant attack, developing to a rich full and round palate of great balance. Displaying rich Douro berry fruit characters with integrated oak tannins with a great length of finish. This wine is from Portugal, Port region. This is a 'single quinta' wine, made in exactly the same way as Taylor's Vintage Port, but using only the grapes from this individual property, trodden on the estate. Only small quantities are made, and only in very good years. Many experts believe Taylor's Single Quinta Vintage Ports to be better than other companies' declared years.
