I bought the overpriced BEL 946 for use on my motorcycle alone. I had a radar mount that fits on the bars and has an aluminum adjustable height stalk that ends in an adjustable plastic mounting plate. Pros Reliable, excellent sensitivity and settings. Excellent cord and connection.
Cons Does not provide for software upgrades, nor does it have European frequency.
Recommended it? Yes

Just got back to NY from a West Coast trip. Drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and then on to San Francisco. Numerous side trips including Sacramento and Muir Woods. All in all, drove well over 1,000 miles - - at every speed, every type road, all environments.
