Pros SLR, Manual-Bulb-Automatic features, Quality Minolta brand, has stood the test of time
Cons On the heavy side, does not have the bells/ whistles that some people need
Recommended it? Yes

I bought my Minolta X-700 so long ago I do not even remember how much I paid for it~ I do remember where I bought it from, and I remember the excitement of owning my very own SLR camera. If I had to buy another camera right now, I would stick with the Minolta X-700 ~ it has more than proven itself... Read full review »

Still a Fine Choice, Great for Beginners and Intermediates or Those With Limited Budgets

Pros Still An Outstanding Manual SLR
Cons Age of Design and Technology
Recommended it? Yes

The Konica-Minolta DiMage A200 was designed to provide an affordable entry platform into the new eight megapixel P&S digital camera class. The A2, K-M's first eight megapixel digicam, was a resounding success – very popular with semi pro photographers, part-time wedding shooters, advanced amateur... Read full review »

I have used the Minolta A200 for two years and have taken nearly 3,000 photos with it. It's strongest selling points include 1) a superb feature set in a very small package 2)true image stabilization and 3) the unbeatable 28-200 mm lens. Why should you consider this camera in 2007? Many reasons. ... Read full review »
