The Ibanez SA series electric guitars provide comfort and warm mahogany tone of an S, but with a standard, flat back.The Ibanez SA120's 25.5" scale neck offers a narrow feel and tight tension, similar to an Ibanez RG. The smooth, stable Ibanez SAT30 bridge brings incredible control and a completely new meaning to the term "standard tremolo". The SAT tremolo on the SA120 allows total control over the tremolo arm, without the problems of a non-locking bridge.The Ibanez SAT trem systems offer wide pitch spacing for better response. Only the front section of the 2pc saddle raises (the back section remains locked) for more stable intonation. The Pop-in trem arm is swing-tension adjustable. Pros Good elements, built well, nice finish.

I bought this Ibanez GSA60 about a year ago. From the start I liked the looks of the guitar, very nice butterscotch finish (others were blue and and silver metallic glossy), a nice agatis body, a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. Pros Great pickup selection, versatile sound, stays in tune really well
Cons Bolt-on neck hinders sustaining ability, humbucker sounds nasty

I bought this guitar about a year and a half ago used at a pawn shop before I even learned to play. The clerk at the store recommended it for use as a beginner. After playing it for as long as I have it's become my primary guitar.
