I have a finished basement with a Home Theater area. The Whirlpool, according to reviews, is a very reliable unit. It does the job required. The NewAir AD-400 Dehumidifier works well enough for a couple of interconnecting rooms but is not nearly as powerful as the dehumidifier we used for many years.
