Pros Great picture quality! Awesome sound! Perfectly overrides copy protection... (shhhh).
Cons In 2005, it's a bit large compared to the more slimline units of today.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought my DDV9050 in September 1997 and it has never caused a problem. It has been through A TON of use in my household and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to transfer VHS to VHS. Read full review »

It's a money saver in so many ways, because you can use mini dv tapes (sony), and tape it and get high definition, so then you can save ten bucks for each tape.
